In the midst of the Israel-Hamas conflict, Blinken and Austin will visit India

America’s Foreign Minister and Defense Minister will visit India amid the Hamas-Israel war. In this 2+2 level meeting in Delhi, many issues, including the ongoing military standoff with China, will be discussed.

Amidst the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Minister Lloyd Austin will visit India this month. During his visit, the US minister will discuss important global and regional issues. Many important issues can be discussed in this 2+2 meeting between the two countries.

Sources said that both leaders will meet their Indian counterparts, S. Jaishankar and Rajnath Singh, during the visit. In this meeting, discussions will be held to increase the strategic partnership between the two countries and strengthen relations.

In this delegation-level meeting in Delhi, many issues, including security and the ongoing military standoff on India’s northern borders with China, will be discussed. Recently, a Pentagon report has also come out, in which it has been told that China has done construction work on a large scale near Doklam. Many helipads have been prepared there, and underground stores have also been made, which can be used in an emergency.

India and America are part of the QUAD group, which is working to ensure security in the Indo-Pacific region. Where India is considered one of the most important players, the issue of the Hamas-Israel conflict can also be raised between the foreign and defence ministers of the two countries.

Apart from this, how to control the Israel-Hamas war can also be discussed in the meeting. Russia-Ukraine and its impact on the global security scenario will also likely be discussed in this meeting with America.

Defence hardware cooperation between India and America is also going to be discussed. Actually, India is buying advanced-technology predator drones from the US. America has been one of the largest buyers of arms in the last few decades. In the coming times, more cooperation can be seen in this field between the two countries.
